About the High Desert Stampede
As an annual Top 60 Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) Prorodeo NFR Playoff Series stop, the High Desert Stampede has established itself as a fast paced, entertaining event that draws a wide variety of spectators. Avid rodeo fans come for the world champion athletes and animals. Families visit Central Oregon for spring break skiing, golfing and add rodeo as their finale. Even if you're just looking for a fun evening, come to join the party!
Our Mission
The High Desert Stampede, in partnership with our Central Oregon community, exists to bring a top tier rodeo experience unlike any other in the Northwest to Central Oregon. To achieve this, we will bring the best athletes and livestock together each year continuing an annual tradition. We wish to recognize and promote the western way of life, our western heritage and sense of community.

The History of HDS
We're proud of how far we've come in such a short amount of time. With volunteer and community support we've grown very quickly, but it hasn't been an easy or clear path.
